Valley Pivots Irrigation Systems

Valley Pivots Irrigation Systems incorporate agricultural irrigation technology produced by globally recognized Valley® Irrigation. With this system, a long pipeline span rotates around a central pivot point and water supply. Sprinklers are mounted on the span which distribute water as the structure slowly moves in a circular pattern.

Precision control (via advanced control panels and telemetry) provide accurate scheduling and flow rates. Additionally, sprinklers can be adjusted to ensure consistent and water distribution. Valley Pivots offer long life and minimal downtime even when subjected to harsh environmental conditions.

The system can cover over 500 acres per pivot with minimal oversight, reducing over- and under-watering. Importantly, Valley Pivots are fully compatible with both fertigation and chemigation.

Equipment and installation costs are Valley Pivots are high. Furthermore, the system is unable to irrigate the corners of rectangular fields (unless corner arms are added). And the system requires flat to gently sloped terrain.

Common applications include corn, soybeans, alfalfa, wheat and potatoes grown in large fields.
