Drain Tile and Swale Design and Construction
Agricultural drainage is designed to remove excess water from the soil in order to enhance crop production. Harplyn offers a variety of drainage services including land leveling, constructing surface inlets to subsurface drains, and the construction of shallow ditches or swales to manage stormwater runoff rather than causing prolonged wet areas. Harplyn can also design and install subsurface drainage systems designed remove excess water from the soil through a network of perforated tubes installed below the soil surface. These tubes are known as “tiles” because they were originally made from clay pipes known as tiles.
